sorry, I just made a LJ account and have been posting on there. Since I'm trying to stop going on the int. as much [except for school], I will post less.

Will probably only post on weekends, sorry.

Go on hulu.com and watch third season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Hilarious!

Hello. Hi. Welcome.

I saw Tropic Thunder today, and have to say Pineapple Express was better. Overall more funny.

Also Borders is having some sort of School sale, got some journals for like $3 and $5 which is OK seeing as normally they are $15 and $20.

I can't wait till all the new stores in my mall open, also can't wait until Nordstrom gets some decent shit. Seriously, American Eagle currently has better clothes then them.

AE is changing their image and so far I like it, more dark washes and they brought back the short sizes (YAY!).

Like 3 weeks ago I saw the Virgin Suicides, it's ok but I don't get the hype.

Lets see...more random topics.....

I won a polaroid camera on ebay today for $7.50, not bad??? Especially since on Amazon they are like $64 used. But um how much is film? Is the Fuji kind really sucky?

I have like NO money, seriously buying Grace her present wiped me out. Thank god mums paying for my school stuff.

Once again KEXP reads my mind! They put up Glasvegas, which is awesome because I haven't a cent to spare. Sometimes this irks me, like when I bought MGMT's Kids and Vampire Weekend and they had it and I could've got em for free. But now it only makes me happy and ramble-y. So I heartily reccomend this podcast which suits my taste far better than indiefeed alternative.

Wednesday, July 30, 2008

Since you still don't know me very well, I will modestly tell you that at my school I kick ass at literature, and am viewed as "promising" because I read vast amounts of "serious" books. I had already read the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn before it was announced that it was our summer reading. So that means I had to re-read it (which I didn't mind doing, because, as a rule, I generally read all my books more than once to extract all the pleasure I can out of them) and figure out the theme. I had an idea, that came to me when I was seriously pissed off at how stupid everyone seemed to be. Even Huckleberry was brainwashed into accepting the fact of slavery. It seemed intensely hypocritical that Jim should should be viewed as bad instead of the real criminals. And lo and behold that was the theme! So a YAY for me...and um, thats all folks.

please enjoy the flowers...

I need to analyze myself soon, or else I will go crazy again. I resist the mad impulse to cuss-talk.
