GARR! My music taste is changing or something.

look: I used to listen to Pela, Coconut Records, Voxtrot and Rufus Wainwright.

Now I listen to: The Vines [no seriously, the song Get Free is good, that music video was uggh I mean I know the lead singer is actually a bit "off" in real life but I can't excuse those facial expressions and how dumb he looks] Bikini Kill and The Hot Tramps.

So now I am dissatisfied with my iPod. I need new songs that fit my new taste. Any help? What is this genre called? Is it still alternative.
